Chad Cowan, President
ASCS; CVMR; Austin Peay State University graduate 1993

Chad has been in the Disaster Clean Up and Commercial Duct Cleaning Industry since 1996. His knowledge of Disaster Clean Up and Indoor Air Quality is second to none having been an owner and co-owner of a national franchise system specializing in water, fire, and duct cleaning for over 15 years. Duct Detectives, Inc. was formed in 2006 after seeing the importance of Post Construction Duct Cleaning in the Commercial/Health Care Market. Chad has taken the idea of “eyes on” and “hands on vacuuming” to a new level:

“It is very important when we are hired by a hospital administrator, or a general or mechanical contractor to get all systems cleaned to NADCA”S ACR 2006 Standards. Our technicians are trained to get their eyes and hands on as much of the duct system as possible to obtain the very best outcome.”
Chad has three teenage boys and one baby girl with his beautiful wife Karen. The Cowan family is a proud member of the St Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in St Cloud, Florida.

Gregory Luther, Operations Manager/Safety Director
Team Member since 2007

Gregory has been with Duct Detectives Florida Division since 2007. Gregory’s background is in the Disaster Clean up and Restoration Industry with a focus on Indoor Air Quality. After spending 9 months in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina and Hurricane Rita, Gregory found it fulfilling to see buildings that had once been devastated by a natural disaster be rebuilt and refurbished. He is an ASCS through NADCA and has gained valuable experience over the last 8 years in the Commercial Duct Cleaning Industry.

Mato Barisic, Commercial Estimator
Team Member since 2011

Mato started his career in the HVAC business by installing complete HVAC systems in apartments and residential houses as an apprentice. After 5 years of residential and light commercial installs, Mato transitioned into the commercial ductwork installation field with South Seminole Sheet Metal. The 3 years of experience in the commercial installation of ductwork allowed Mato to move into an estimating roll as a blue prints take off estimator. Mato’s expertise in ductwork installation and estimating was a key component in bringing him on board with Duct Detectives, Inc. as our lead estimator for commercial projects.

Randy Wilson, Project Manager
Team Member since 2010

Randy has been with Duct Detectives, Inc since May of 2010. Randy brings over 20 years of hands on experience to the Duct Detectives team. Randy’s experience has mainly been in the general construction industry with knowledge in Truss Building and Residential and Commercial Framing. Randy is a very valuable asset to Duct Detectives in that he has brought knowledge from years of management experience to the Duct Detectives team.

Aran Naraidoo, Lead Supervisor
Team Member since 2008

Aran has been in the Commercial Air Duct Cleaning Industry for the past 8 years. He has been with Duct Detectives, Inc for over 3 years having his ASCS Certification from NADCA for the past 5 years. Aran has run crews from 3 technicians, specializing in schools, hospitals, and government Buildings. Aran spent the entire summer of 2010 managing crews on a naval facility in the Bahamas cleaning ductwork at multiple locations. At 140 pounds, Aran is considered by all on the Duct Detectives team to be “The Duct Diver.”
